When should I buy my child their first pair of proper walking shoes?

Our soft baby slippers and shoes are designed for wear before a child begins to walk and during the time they are taking their first steps.  Our older children’s shoe ranges are suitable for when your child is walking on their own.  We recommend that you do not buy proper walking shoes for your child until he/she is walking unaided for at least a couple of weeks.

How do I know what size shoe to order?

We have instructions on how to measure your child’s foot at home on our Size Guides page.  Also against each shoe we have a drop down menu which will give that particular shoe brands sizing equivalents.  We recommend re-sizing your child’s foot ever 2-3 months.  Please contact us on info@littlescamps.ie or by phone at 044 9372916 if you have any queries regarding fitting children’s shoes.

What width fitting are your shoes?

Our shoes in the main are based on a standard G fitting.  However, we do have certain brands and shoes within these brands that are more suitable for a narrower or wider foot.  You will see any comments we have about width that is outside our standard width category in the relevant shoe description.  If you need any help regarding width of a particular shoe or help in choosing the right footwear for your child, please contact us at info@littlescamps.ie or by phone on 044 9372916 and we will be happy to help you with your queries.

When will my shoes arrive?

If you live anywhere in Ireland (including Northern Ireland) we have the choice of courier delivery.  Once you place your order before 10am on a working day, purchases by courier will typically arrive the next working day (the parcel will need to be signed for so please give us your mobile number and a relevant delivery address if you will not be at home so that we can deliver your order). 
For purchases from customers throughout Ireland and destinations worldwide we also offer the regular An Post postal service which is charged by weight.  The delivery times for An Post and any other delivery information can be found on our Delivery Information page.

What is your returns policy?

We understand that the shoes or accessories you buy may not always be suitable.  We have a generous returns policy, details of which can be found on our Returns Policy page.
